Happy fall everyone!!!!
We made it through another hot and humid summer I hope everyone has had a great summer. But now it's time to start thinking about school, Thanksgiving, and yes Christmas is just around the corner. We currently have two bred females and if everything goes as expected, we should have puppies ready just in time for Christmas.

Also, make sure that you have your dogs Frontline on them...the ticks are out, it is that time of the year you know, and be sure to have your dogs on Heartworm prevention.

Heartworm disease is transmitted by mosquitoes and is potentially fatal, however it is completely preventable by properly testing and medicating animals before they become infected. If your animal has been on heartworm prevention before and you have "missed" 2 or more months, it is necessary to test them before going back on the pill. Failure to do this could possible cause death to your beloved one. So remember to go to your vet, have your loved one tested and be sure to get the heartworm prevention that you vet recommends. Remember, prevention is always cheaper than treatment.
